There had been some extra problems during printing I heard, but finally this morning I found ‘Orbis Terrarum 23 (2025)’ on my doormat! I hope you enjoy my article on the halft-routes.

It turns out the yearbook was full. My article is therefore postponed to the summer, and will now be published in Orbis Terrarum 23 (2025). As the saying goes: 'What is in the barrel, does not sour'.

The yearbook ‘Orbis Terrarum 2024’, with this project’s first article “The ‘half-route’ solution to the incorrect distance values on the Tabula Peutingeriana, and the source material for Roman itineraries”, will come out in January 2025.

The first article has been approved for publication in the German scientific yearbook Orbis Terrarum. The title has become: “The ‘half-route’ solution to the incorrect distance values on the Tabula Peutingeriana, and the source material for Roman itineraries”. No less than six peer-reviews have been submitted and are processed. I took one case out, in which was elaborated that routes in the Itinerarium Antonini are also based on half routes. This has become the first entry in the ‘cases’-section.
